Everything at Jeffrey’s was phenomenal. From the moment we arrived to the nicest and kindest valet you could ask for to the tea after dessert, no moment was less than spectacular. The popover bread with their ricotta and honey spread was DIVINE. The popcorn, which is served at the bar but you can get it at the dinner table, was so delicious! I ordered the truffle deviled eggs and they were amazing! The truffle is strong, but not overly so. If you don’t like truffle you may not be a huge fan because you definitely taste it. Then for the entrees. Oh the entrees! I have never had a better steak in my life. Never. And I have had a lot of steak. I don’t think that I will ever find a better one. I had the Legacy La Grange, Texas 12oz New York Strip and my husband got the Dean & Peele Floresville, Texas 8oz Tenderloin Filet. Both were perfectly cooked, perfectly prepared, perfectly presented. Perfect, perfect, perfect. We both got the onion ring on top and I got the Garlic and Rosemary Butter. I could go on for hours about these steaks, but the sides, they deserve all the praise too. We both got the steak fries and pommes puree. They were heavenly. I don’t know what they do to make those potatoes so smooth and delicious but I don’t think there is a better side dish out there. Then we finished with some in house made vanilla bean ice cream with house made whipped cream. It was exactly what we needed. Not to heavy but absolutely delicious. I also got a chamomile and lavender tea after diner and it was heavenly. The service was impeccable and the drinks were strong. All adding to the overall wonderful experience. Our server was very friendly and kind, her name was Megan. She is a rockstar! Such an incredible experience. All of it, everything. 10/10, 5 stars, no notes. Do yourself a favor and just go yourself so you can enjoy this one of kind gem.

Jeffrey’s has set the standard for food and service excellence in Austin for years. Sunday is half price wine night (any bottle!) so we make quarterly overpriced trips from San Antonio to enjoy date night. Our most recent date put us with our server Jacob in the bar. We love to people watch! Jacob made our night with his menu and wine knowledge, as well as his most excellent service attitude.

I’m a Houston partisan and it is very difficult to admit this but if I was given a choice to eat anywhere in the state, it would be here. The service is so professional. Anything you want, however you want it, they are happy to accommodate. For a table of 4, we decided to split a bunch of apps and then a sliced up porterhouse. It was perfect for the table. Pro tip: ask for au poivre sauce for the steak. So good. It’s a difficult reservation, need to plan a couple of weeks in advance, but so well worth it.

Dang, dude. This place was everything the hype surrounding it says it is as an "Austin staple." Food. Amazing. Service. Incredible. Atmosphere. Classy meets trendy. Perfect for special occasions or happy hours. From the start, the bread (pop overs) are remarkable - we were tempted to skip due to "eating healthier", but are so glad we didn't as the soft flakiness paired with the ricotta butter is simply a "can't miss." The cocktails were fantastic with a wide array of spirits to choose from as well and a whole iPad's worth of wine to browse through. Horsd'oeuvres (all of the ones we had) were another set of "can't go wrongs" as each small bite (meant for 1-2 peeps with a bite each) were so tasty. We tried 3 different ones - the deviled eggs, crab beignets, and ham & cheese croquettes - wow. Just wow. Finally, the entrees were soooo worth the price of admission. We enjoyed a wonderful 12 oz wagyu steak (don't ask me which as there's a great selection to choose from) and the Pekin duck breast. Both were some of the best eats we had to celebrate our special anniversary evening - which, side note, they make you feel so special with little surprises here and there. Props to Harold on being awesome and giving awesome recs. He was equally professional as was both charming and knowledgeable. All in all, Jeffrey's quickly went to the top of our atx eating lists and is one you should absolutely have on your radar.

I came here for my first dinner with my friends. My sister and my friends booked a table at 9.30pm as it was the only time available. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated and every table is full of customers. We ordered 2 bottles of wine and all the dishes we ordered were shared style as we wanted to try many different dishes. All the dishes were delicious, with good quality ingredients and beautifully presented. Our server, Sterling, was very attentive and Also was the manager and all service team. Everyone very nice. I am not surprised that this restaurant is so popular. We very enjoy and good time to spend at Jeffrey’s & Josephine house. Thank you your wonderful experience here. Highly recommend for dating too. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
